Luis Palma has moulded into a key player for Celtic since joining the club from Aris Thessaloniki in the summer. The attacker has bagged some incredible goals so far in Glasgow, and he will be ever-eager to add to his collection as time goes on.
At the weekend against Ross County, he netted a goal-of-the-season contender. Palma’s abilities have been clear to see since he joined Celtic, although former Hoops star Emilio Izaguirre had prior knowledge of them.

The now-retired left-back has spoken about how he knew of Palma when he was a teenager. He said (Daily Record): “I knew about his potential for years. He was with me in the Honduras National Team in 2019. He was just starting out, I think he was 18 years old when they called him up. He is a great player.”
So far, Palma has certainly lived up to the expectations of Honduran players at Celtic that were set by Izaguirre. The defender, who endured two spells at the club, is clearly a big fan of the left-winger who he will be backing to succeed all the way.
