FRANK MCAVENNIE has claimed that Kyogo could be back for the third Glasgow Derby of the season, with people he talks to at Celtic positive over the striker’s return.
Kyogo himself has talked about his fitness, revealing he would be returning soon. Ange has refused to put a time frame on his number 8’s return, although he gave a rough estimate that Furuhashi would return to training during the international break.
It doesn’t seem that this has happened yet, with Kyogo failing to appear in Celtic’s bounce match against Motherwell, with the Hoops coming out victorious.

Frank McAvennie has told Football Insider that his return is imminent, saying;
“I’ve heard from people who know he will be back in the next few weeks, in time for the Rangers game.”
If this is the case, it’ll be a boost for Postecoglou’s side. However, the reality is, with a week to go, the striker will struggle to be ready for the match. Celtic will probably line up with Giakouamkis in the position, with Maeda on the wing. Hopefully, Kyogo can make the bench, but he won’t be rushed back.
Ange now has depth in the position, meaning there is no requirement for Kyogo to be thrown straight back into the squad.
