Celtic have just officially announced that Marvin Compper is now a Celtic player. The German has signed a two and a half year deal with the Hoops.

The defender will be available for selection from the 1st of January 2018. Marvin will be introduced to the Celtic faithful tonight at Celtic Park. Celtic face Thistle tonight after Brendan Rodgers first loss in domestic competitions on Sunday.

The Celtic defenders came in for a lot of criticism, the Celtic back four has had its problems all season with injuries and players off form. Rodgers will be hoping the 6’2 defender can bring some stability and experience to a shaky defence.
