CELTIC confirmed the triple signing of Hatate, Maeda, and Guchi on Hogmanay. The latter two have checked in at Lennoxtown, with Hatate still to be pictured at the training ground.
The J-League has been a successful market for Celtic already, with Kyogo Furuhashi topping the score charts for the hoops at the halfway point. Ange knows the league very well and he will be hoping the additions he has made so far will help strengthen the team as Celtic looks to apply pressure to the league leaders.
TalkSPORT pundit Gabriel Agbonlahor has been talking about the signings and has said;
“You’ve got time with the winter break to see what they can do,” Gabby told Football Insider.
“Get them working together, get them used to their new teammates.
“I’m sure they’re very, very good players and it could turn out to be amazing business for Celtic.
“They’ve now got a group of people who can help each other. They are from the same country so that’s going to help them settle in more.
“It’s looking positive for Celtic.”
It certainly is looking positive for the Hoops, the fans feel positive and hopefully the team can reflect this. The signings are relatively unknown, just like Kyogo, let’s hope they can deliver on the pitch.
