Celtic narrowly defeated Ross County by a goal to nil on Saturday afternoon. Alistair Johnston’s strike within the first few minutes was enough for the Hoops to secure the three points.
The win didn’t come without a few scares, though. In the latter stages, Joe Hart was called into action to deny County’s Jordan White from stealing a point for his side.
The Englishman’s contribution was crucial, but the fact The Bhoys were at risk of throwing away the three points left many fans frustrated.

Indeed, a culmination of annoyances among certain sections of the supporters caused boos to ring around Parkhead at full-time. Brendan Rodgers’ response to this was noteworthy, with the manager sounding frustrated by the reaction.
Senior squad member Joe Hart, however, took a more positive standpoint. He thinks the jeers come as somewhat of an accolade.
The veteran goalie was speaking to the media after Saturday’s victory, and touched on the reaction when Euan Anderson blew the final whistle: “Nobody is getting on each other’s back”, he said (Glasgow Times).
“Life is not perfect, football is not perfect, but we are putting ourselves in the best position. It’s half a compliment for everyone to be so frustrated when we have won.”
