MARVIN BARTLEY has admitted Kyogo’s and Reo Hatate’s snub from the Japanese squad has angered him.

The Clyde 1 Super Scoreboard pundit is adamant that Kyogo’s form should get him recalled to the national squad. Leading the scoring charts in Scotland, the striker has been an integral part of Celtic’s team this season.
He’s stepped up to the occasion this season, too, putting to bed the belief that he’s not a big game player, scoring a vital goal at Ibrox and at Hampden in the Glasgow Derby final.
Speaking on Clyde 1 SSB, the Queen of the South manager made his opinions clear on the matter, giving a very sensible answer.
He said:
“Kyogo’s movement is incredible, he’s scored 26 goals this season, I don’t understand it. Hatate has been brilliant.
“These are friendlies [For Japan] too”
As he continued to point out Kyogo and Hatate’s achievements Marvin declared “It’s actually getting me angry talking about it.”
Hajime Moriyasu has had a mare with his reasoning for Kyogo’s snub, claiming that the league isn’t at a high enough level to merit picking Kyogo, yet he’s called Maeda up to participate in the friendly matches.
Kyogo deserves o be getting on a flight to Japan, with Maeda for the country’s matches at the end of the month.
