Celtic were in celebratory mode on Friday, marking the 16th birthday of FIFA Ultimate Team, with Jota, Auston Trusty, and Alistair Johnston taking part in a special video where they attempted to decorate cakes.

Jota, who has a special FUT Birthday card in this year’s game, was the centre of attention—but Johnston stole the show with his tribute to Daizen Maeda’s catchy new chant.
The song, based on the tune of “Tequila”, has been echoing around Celtic Park in recent weeks, with Maeda’s name replacing the famous chorus. After last weekend’s Scottish Cup win over Hibs, players like Jota and Johnston were seen egging on the crowd as the song played.
During the FIFA-themed video, while discussing Jota’s own chant, Johnston couldn’t help but give Maeda’s a mention.
“Do you know who else has got a really good song? Daizen Maeda. It’s a banger.”

With that, he launched into a brilliant rendition of the tune, proving that the chant is just as popular in the dressing room as it is in the stands.
A great wee clip that only adds to Maeda’s cult hero status, with Johnston leading the charge in making sure his teammate’s song keeps booming around Celtic Park.
Hopefully, the tune will be stuck in our heads when we leave Celtic Park on Sunday.
