Andy Robertson is preparing for the biggest game of his life in the Champions League Final against Real Madrid but the defender surprised a few people when he was asked about what phillosiphy he bought into most as a young lad.
When asked if it was Liverpool’s idealistic style or Real Madrid’s silky Galactico’s he idealised growing up – his answer was simple.
‘It was Celtic’
Press: "When you were growing up Andy, were you Liverpool or were you Real Madrid? What type of football would have appealed to you?"
Andy Robertson: "It was Celtic. I was Celtic through and through. I didn't quite go anywhere outside Glasgow." pic.twitter.com/Tx0neXcX3e

Andy’s rise to footballing fame is well documented. From being let go by his beloved Celtic at a young age to climbing up the ranks of Scottish football until England came calling.
He now hits the zenith with Liverpool in the Champions League Final as the English side look to out-attack Real Madrid.
We wish him all the best.
