Ismaila Soro Exit Latest

Celtic midfielder Ismaila Soro looks to be part of the several players departing the club this month, with the club willing to listen to loan and permanent offers for the 23-year old.

Reports late last night suggested that MLS side New York Red Bulls were interested in bringing the Ivory Coast midfielder to the United States, with Soro attracting interest from the MLS and Israel.

According to Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph, the club are yet to receive an official approach from Red Bulls, who are in no rush to make a move. However, they are looking to complete their business before the start of the MLS season next month.

The move to the States is also believed to be Soro’s preferred move, as he prepares to leave Glasgow in January.

Although adding to the squad remains a priority for Ange Postecoglou, it is clear to see that offloading players is also a big part of the January transfer window.

Ultimately, Soro has shown some good attributes during his time with the Hoops. But, under Postecoglou, the 23-year old hasn’t had much game time in recent months and moving on would likely be best for all parties moving forward.
