Islam Feruz was once the hottest player in Celtic’s youth system. The young man came over to Scotland from Somalia back when he was five and entered the Celtic youth system when he was ten.

There was such high hopes for Islam at Celtic it seemed only a matter of time before he would get his first team opportunity.

Unfortunately -— it never panned out like that and Islam left the club in the lurch to sign a lucrative deal with Chelsea.

Since then, the player has shown a bad attitude at many of his loan clubs and after seven years was let go at Chelsea without making a first team appearance.

Since last year, Islam has not found a new club and now SunSport report the player has ditched football to start his own clothing brand.

It seems a waste of talent but your head needs to be in the game to make it at any decent lev.
