CRAIG GORDON is reportedly weighing up his options this summer after losing his first team place to Scott Bain in the second half of last season.
The Scottish stopper hasn’t played a game for Celtic since their 1-0 defeat to Ibrox back in December 2018. Scott Bain came in under the last two months of Brendan Rodgers reign and Neil Lennon carried on with Bain once he took charge on an interim basis.
It’s expected Bain will start the new season as Celtic’s number one and Gordon will have to fight his way back into contention. However, according to Football Insider, the goalkeeper has told friends he may look to leave Parkhead this summer in search for first team football.
The invincible goalkeeper doesn’t have a lot of years left in the game and will most likely want to play as much as he can before he hangs up his gloves. Gordon still has a year left on his current deal.
