Celtic defenders Virgil van Dijk and Jason Denayer has been called up to the the Dutch and Belgium squad respectively after turning out some great performances in the Hoops

The two centre backs have forged a decent partnership so far this season and could prove vital in the coming weeks and months as Celtic look to progress.

Jason will probably not get any game time with Belgium just yet but being part of the set up will boost the defenders confidence no end.

As for Virgil van Dijk, it’s only a matter of time before the player is a main stay in the heart of that Dutch defence.

Holland have a double header against Kazakhstan and Iceland while Belgium will take on Bosnia-Herzegovina and Andorra.
