Internacional have submitted a final offer for Alexandro Bernabei as they make a last-ditch attempt to keep the left back at the club.
Bernabei, 24, rejuvenated himself on loan at the Brazilian side, scoring three goals and assisting five in 23 league appearances as he was named in the Serie A Team of the Season.

Given his electric displays, it is no surprise that Internacional want to keep Bernabei at the club, although it appears they are struggling to do so.
According to The Herald, reports in Brazil state that they have submitted a final ‘take it or leave it’ loan offer for the Argentine because they cannot afford the £7m Celtic want.
Internacional have until the end of the month to sign the attack-minded defender, or else other suitors can swoop in. And that looks likely to happen.
Indeed, Sao Paulo giants Palmeiras are waiting until Internacional’s deadline passes to make their move, and for them, money won’t be an issue.
It looks like Celtic will recoup the £3.75m they paid for Bernabei two and a half years ago.
He failed to set the heather alight in Glasgow’s east end but has gone back to a familiar country, culture, and continent and, all of a sudden could make his parent club a tidy sum.
