HARRY KEWELL will join the Celtic setup this summer and become a major part of Ange’s first team coaching staff. The former Liverpool and Leeds man has had very hard luck trying to break through as a manager but will now assist his former Socceroos boss and learn from under him in the coming months.
Harry had a top career and was a fantastic player in his day. There’s no doubt the Australian can offer a lot to the bhoys at Lennoxtown.
OptusSports conducted an interview with Harry around six months ago where he spoke candidly about his time in management and the pressures of dealing with over ambitious owners.
The incoming Celtic coach also talks about Ange briefly when Mark Schwarzer brings up the manager’s move to Celtic and what he’s done as Australia’s national boss and in the J-League.
He’s no shrinking violet, that’s for sure. Kewell should be a good addition to the coaching set up.
