As a team, you never want to be reliant on one player but during Celtic’s rebuild – to land a player like Kyogo was a god send.
The Japanese star has been the catalyst for so many top results for the Hoops and the cup final was a shining example of what he’s all about and what he means to this team.
The stats this season with Kyogo are frighteningly good, when the striker has played, Celtic have only lost once. Might I add, he was played out on the left in the one game we did lose in the league.

Look at the points dropped when he’s not been in the team. That includes Wednesday night’s draw against St Mirren. That’s twelve points dropped in just eight games without Kyogo. It’s a crazy statistic but shows you how important he is.
I still can’t believe we risked his fitness in a dead rubber in the Europa League. That decision has come back to bite us this week and we have to deal with the consequences of being six points behind.
