FORMER Celtic striker Anthony Stokes has bagged a whopping FOUR goals for his team Tractor-Sazi.

The six goal demolition of Esteghlal Khuzestan happened on Friday afternoon with the Irishman running riot in Iran.

Stokes raised more than a few eyebrows when he moved to Iran in the summer after his failed move to Greece. The striker was sacked by his previous side and also kicked out of Hibs before that after a spat with Neil Lennon.

He seems to be enjoying life in Iran away from the media I’m this country.

The player who famously helped Hibernian win the Scottish Cup a few years back says it isn’t hard being away from family but he is enjoying his football again.

As a Celtic striker, perhaps Stokes deadliest period at the club was linking up with Gary Hooper. The pair were more often than not on the scoresheet when they played together.
