Former Celtic academy star Ben Doak made his English Premier League debut on Boxing Day, coming on as a late substitute as Liverpool beat Aston Villa 3-1.
Doak has made a massive impression on the coaches and Jurgen Klopp since moving from Celtic to Anfield. His contributions to the reserve side has made his inclusion in the first team squad a no brainer for the manager.

With the three points wrapped up, Doak was given his first taste of English top flight football.
Ben was highly rated at Celtic. The club did everything in their power to get the youngster to stay in Glasgow, Ange even giving Ben minutes in the Glasgow Derby last season.
In the end, Doak’s mind was made up when Liverpool made their interest known.

The former Celtic player looks to have the world at his feet and his Boxing Day debut is the gateway to more game time between now and the end of the season.
