Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie is reportedly ‘very much open’ to extending his stay at the club.
As reported by Sun Sport, fresh talks between the 26-year old and the club have opened again, with no concrete offer being made at this stage. However, it is thought that the inform attacking midfielder is open to staying with the Hoops.
Last season, Christie was one of the players who took a lot of criticism from supporters for his performances in the side.
However, under new boss Ange Postecoglou he seems to have turned things around and yesterday put in one of his best displays in a Celtic top, setting up three goals in the Hoops 6-0 victory over Dundee.
The report also states that Christie enjoys working under the former Socceroos manager.
Currently, he is free to speak to other clubs surrounding his future, with his contract coming to an end in the next few months.
His recent form has convinced many Celtic fans that one of the priorities of this transfer window now needs to be getting the Scotland international signed up on a new deal.
