ODSONNE EDOUARD is our talisman, the man who makes things happen when we need him to and who usually gets among the goals. However, the player is entitled to the odd howler and he certainly cashed in on that at Pittodrie on Sunday!
The Frenchman won’t want to see it back but he missed a chance to make it 3-1 on the day when both an Aberdeen defender and goalkeeper were on the deck. With the goal at his mercy, the Celtic striker pinged it off the goalkeeper and the ball wandered safely away from goal.
Not long before that, it was Eddy’s quick thinking and skill which sent Celtic on their way to scoring the winning goal through Kristoffer Ajer, so you’re not going to hear me complain about this! This is more of a light ribbing at the Frenchman’s expense and the hope that if he’s due one howler a season, we’ve just seen it!
