Greg Taylor has this evening arrived at Celtic Park to put pen to paper for the Scottish Champions after a day of frantic negotiating between Celtic and Killie.

Taylor has played over 100 SPFL games and helped Steve Clarke to not one but two fanatic finishes in the league. The defender has been at the top of Lennon’s list when it came to bringing in a player to compete with Boli Bolingoli.

The terms of the deal have not become clear yet but Kilmarnock valued the player around £3m.

Celtic have spent most of the summer rebuilding their defence with Boli, Jullien, Elhamed and Bauer all coming in. Taylor is another piece of the puzzle.

There could still be another two in this evening with Celtic linked with moves for Jeremie Frimpong and Lee O’Connor.
