GREG TAYLOR shone yet again on Saturday when Celtic travelled to Aberdeen as they looked to finish the weekend nine points clear of second place.

Celtic had to play against a side camped in their own box, limiting the Hoops’ chances. There didn’t seem to be a plan to at least try to score, with their very few attacks resulting in no shots on target.
It’s a plan that doesn’t work against Celtic, the players are resilient and always find a way to break through their opposition. This week it happened with just three minutes to go. Callum McGregor took the ball and ran through the Aberdeen defence and struck it into the bottom corner.
Greg Taylor admits he was expecting Aberdeen to come out and at least string together a few attacks. The left-back has dismissed claims that the Dons were hard done by, stating Celtic were the better side throughout the match and that the win was never in doubt.

“If I’m honest we expected them to come out and have more of a go. But every team has their belief on how they can get a result against us so fair play to them.
“They will probably feel because the game went on so long at 0-0 that they were hard done by. But if we analyse the performance they will realise there was only one team ever going to win the game.
“I don’t know what the possession stats were but we dominated the ball and the chances. I think it would have been pretty harsh if we had not come away with the three points.”
