Yes, you read that right! They paid money to get a banner made to state they don’t want to take any players on loan from Celtic anymore.
It seems an extreme over reaction to the actual situation at Pittodrie.
Over the years, we’ve not loaned many players to Aberdeen to warrant this kind of stupidity.
Ryan Christie, Adam Montgomery and now Liam Scales are the three loan players over the last 5 or 6 years. I think these lads are getting themselves confused.
The Dons have had a lot of former Celtic players in their side but many of them have been permanent deals. Scott Brown, Johnny Hayes, Niall McGinn and Gary Mackay-Steven to name a few.
