Ibrox Star’s Disrespectful Celtic Comment Emerges

Celtic take on their Glasgow rivals on Sunday at Hampden Park for the League Cup Trophy.

Ange and the bhoys have been nothing but respectful in the lead up to the game and are working hard behind the scenes to make sure they’re in the best possible shape to go out and win the game.

On the other side of Glasgow though, we’re seeing the usual disrespect and playing to the galleries.

Ibrox attacker Fashion Sakala has been talking to the media ahead of the game, and refused to say Celtic’s name during the interview. The player referring to the Hoops as ‘the other mob’.

“Obviously, I know how important the game is when you play the other mob. I believe it is all about the badge, and I don’t really think about my individual performance, the most important thing is about the win for the fans, and the club and the good performance from the players.” The player told SunSport.

It’s the sort of thing you need to do, when you trail the ‘other mob’ by nine points in the league. And when you lost the league last season to the ‘other mob’ when their fans thought it was going to be won at a canter.

Michael Beale did the very same thing when talking about Celtic a few months back when he referred to Celtic as ‘them’. We can’t be surprised the players have followed suit.

It’s more amusing than anything. Call us the ‘other mob’ all you like. We’ll still be Celtic, the Champions of Scotland.

The game takes place at Hampden with a 3pm Kick off scheduled.
