IBROX STAR Malik Tillman has claimed on their day Rangers are one of the best teams in the league, ‘if not the best’.
The comments come as Celtic get set to make the short journey across the city for the Glasgow derby,
Malik makes these comments as Celtic come to Ibrox as defending champions who hold a current nine point lead at the top of the table
“If we reach our level we are one of the best teams in the league, or even the best team,” Tillman told Football Scotland. “Obviously, we’ll try to turn around things in the Old Firm game and bring back three points.
Celtic already own a victory this season over the best team in the league on their day and it’s a bit disrespectful or even stupid to come out with comments like that when you’ve shown very little.
Ange Postecoglou and Celtic were victorious the last time they went to Ibrox in the league, That day, the win effectively won the league for the bhoys in green.
They will be hoping for another successful outing at Ibrox. However, there’s nobody over at Celtic making any claims, the bhoys will do their talking on the park.
The game is scheduled for January 2nd.
