Ibrox Side Reduced To Linfield Euro Connection

After being humiliated by Progres on Tuesday night it gets more embarrassing for the Ibrox side as LINFIELD promise to fly the flag for the Linfield-Rangers connection in Europe and more importantly against Celtic.

Such is the plight of the downtrodden Govan club, Linfield is now taking pity on them. Once upon a time, it was Linfield fans who would look to live vicariously through their financially doped up pals across the water as they wallowed in their mediocrity, my how times have changed.

“We’ll fly the flag for the Linfield-Rangers connection but I am under no illusions how difficult it will be.” Said Linfield manager David Healy.

Celtic head to Ireland to face off against Linfield next Friday at 5pm as the Scottish Champions look to progress (no pun intended) to the next round of the competition.

Have no doubt, that once the hopeless bears have finally wiped away their Tuesday tears they will get their ‘flegs’ at the ready and pray to King Billy that Linfield can do the business.

Ironically, there will be more Rangers fans at the game next week than Celtic even though their team are so far out of Europe Nigel Farage is jealous – I hope Rodgers and co. give them a show.
