Ibrox reject Josh Windass made a ‘wrong club’ jibe directed at Callum McGregor on Tuesday evening.

Windass, obviously taking in the Scotland vs Croatia game would have seen Callum bring Scotland level at Hampden before the Scots ultimately fell to defeat.

Taking to social media, the failed Ibrox man called McGregor a top player but said he was at the ‘wrong club’.

This caveat in this tweet clearly to pander to his audience. In international football, allegiances can be set aside and you can appreciate players you would usually call your rivals on any other day of the week,

The juvenile comment is as unimpressive as Josh’s career in Glasgow. The lad won nothing against Celtic and was moved on from his club.

Cal Mac had a good tournament and was the Celtic player who got the most minutes in the tournament. The midfielder didn’t have a good campaign with Celtic last season but he looks like he’s ready to turn a corner and get going again when the Hoops get back to business.
