Ibrox Obsession – McInnes Can Stop Celtic

BARRY FERGUSON is the epitome of everything that’s wrong with things down Ibrox way.

A former player of the former Ibrox club is in today’s paper telling people that should Derek McInnes get the job he can help stop Celtic winning ten-in-a-row.

The former player wrote – ‘As a player, Derek McInnes was part of the Rangers squad that won Nine in a row. As a manager, he is the guy who can end Celtic’s chances of 10.’

The Ibrox club are in no fit state to operate at any kind of level Celtic are at the moment yet bringing in a manager who Rodgers has tamed already is giving wee Barry hope.

Simply put, their obsession with stopping ten-in-a-row is so overwhelming they can’t see the bigger picture.

They’re trying to challenge a side who ran Bayern Munich very close this week, with a world-class manager and a team blossoming before our very eyes.

Instead, what they should be doing, is look to improve gradually. However, the peepel are not patient and every season they’ll rip their team to shreds and start again in search of stopping the ten. Sacking managers and players as they go, good luck with that.
