Ibrox Man in Honest Celtic Admission

BARRY FERGUSON has admitted that Celtic are in a better position to be top of the league come May but has revealed he isn’t worried.

Gio’s men dropped points on Sunday, as Celtic won, which extended their lead at the top of the table. Three points clear, with a much superior goal difference, Celtic are in a great position than they were heading into the winter break, six points off the summit.

Celtic are finding a way to win, even if they don’t perform to their highest standard. Across the city, things aren’t looking as good. The side has been dropping points regularly and was schooled in the first Glasgow Derby of the year.

Speaking on Go Radio, quoted by the Daily Record, the former Ibrox man admitted;

“I’ll be honest, I’d rather be in Celtic’s shoes. I’d rather be three points in front.

“Obviously playing first, they can put a bit of pressure on if they go and get the win and go six points clear.

It’s great to see the other side begin to worry, even if they’re not admitting to it.

Postecoglou’s side is in great and doesn’tike dropping off soon. Their biggest domestic challenge will be their trip to the Tony Macaroni Arena on the 6th of March.
