Ibrox Icon Wants Celtic Captain ‘Sorted Out’ During Glasgow Derby

With the Glasgow Derby approaching, the worry is creeping into the Ibrox camp.

Stuart McCall has given Rangers a strategy to attempt to neutralise Celtic, and has told Phillipe Clement who will ‘sort out’ Celtic captain Callum McGregor, who normally runs the show.

McGregor, who is still finding his way back to peak condition after an injury in March, has been gradually increasing his playtime, managing significant minutes in recent games against Dundee and Hearts. He pretty much played a full 90 minutes against Hearts at the weekend and looked back to his very best.

Stuart McCall highlighted the importance of addressing McGregor’s role effectively. . “If, like people were saying, McGregor was back to his best for Celtic and pulling the strings, I’d like to see somebody go and sort him out and, for me, Sterling can do that,” McCall stated. [SunSport]

They’re obviously scared of the threat McGregor poses, especially given how he ran the show in the last Glasgow Derby at Parkhead, but what does McColl mean by ‘sort him out’? It’s a phrase that could easily be interpreted in a few ways,  and possibly have connotations of violence. I really hope that wasn’t what McCall was trying for.
