The Rangers defender Fabio Cardoso has warned Celtic that they are coming for the SPFL title.
The five-year-old club has made some decent strides in their short existence thus far but winning the league seems a bit far-fetched but don’t tell that to Fabio.
“We know if we win all our games until the end that we are going to be champions and we are going to try to do that,” the 23-year-old said.
This is the sort of a delirium Celtic fans have been facing for the last season and a half, the constant talk with very little action to back it up.
They had a chance to show they were ready to take on the challenge last month at Ibrox but much like a cheap suit, it fell apart very quickly.
You will notice the absence of Celtic players in the press, declaring they will win the league. Instead, you see them on the pitch like yesterday, grinding out a result on a difficult day.
The bluster and bravado will continue to pollute our media but as a wise man once said, the dog’s bark but the caravan just keeps on moving.
