CELTIC allowed their Glasgow rivals to be the bigger men on Sunday and exhibit true sportsmanship like their own defender once prattled on about on social media.
Having just secured the league the bhoys head to Ibrox as newly crowned champions and usually when that happens, there would be a guard of honour. Tonight SunSport is reporting the Ibrox club will be completely consistent and NOT clap the champions onto the park.
Considering the number of people, including their own fans and players that told Celtic they were going to lose the league this season it has to be seen as a fantastic achievement for the blue side of Glasgow.
This sticks with the traditions of a club who slashed Celtic’s allocation to the bare minimum just to spite us. Given the way their own player’s acted at Celtic Park after being beat then it stands to reason this decision was made.
Sportsmanship at Ibrox for Celtic, don’t make us laugh.
