The news about Ange Postecoglou’s potential Celtic appointment is heating up. So much so, all eyes will be on Yokohama Marinos on Sunday morning to see if the Australian will take the team for their cup match against Consodole.
However, a multimedia reporter in Japan has claimed he would be shocked if the manager wasn’t in charge of the game and a couple more after that.
I would be SHOCKED if he wasn't in the dugout tomorrow, and it wouldn't surprise me if he stays for one if not both of the team's other cup fixtures this week (6/9 vs. Honda FC, 6/13 vs. Consadole).

The man deserves a proper goodbye from the fans, at the very least. https://t.co/pUxl8riXQC
It would be an outrageous scenario for Celtic if they have a manager waiting in the wings still taking his current club while doing no prep for a role that needed to be filled months ago.
Compensation has a seemingly been agreed so the UEFA red tape appears to be the only issue at this point.
Considering the added complication of an isolation period when Ange flies into Scotland, there’s no way he should be taking his current side beyond Sunday’s fixture.
All bets are off when it comes to this board and there’s a very real scenario John Kennedy takes the first and second week of Lennoxtown training when the players return in less than two weeks time.
