MOUSSA DEMBELE is never far away from a post about Celtic.
The Frenchman has kept in touch with the club’s fortunes over the years since leaving Celtic Park.
Moussa spent two seasons at the club which were particularly special, the striker playing major role in an invincible treble and a double rebel before heading to Lyon.
He also warned us about Brendan Rodgers intentions on the way out but it wasn’t until six months later we’d find out for ourselves what the Irishman was really all about.
Moussa celebrated the anniversary of signing for Celtic back in 2016 on social media and admitted he is grateful for his time at the club and the love he’s still shown by supporters to this day.
5 years already 😳🖋@CelticFC !
Until this day you guys are still grateful for the goals I scored and I will always be grateful for the love and recognition you have for me! #HH #Invincible #DoubleTrebleWinners #KingsOfScotland 🍀 @dembelition https://t.co/SmVHTCBpMS— Moussa Dembélé (@MDembele_10) June 28, 2021
Moussa was on-loan at Atletico Madrid last season but it doesn’t look like he’ll be staying at the Spanish club. Lyon might look to sell this summer and if they do, Celtic could be in-line for a sell-on fee.
