CHRIS SUTTON has had a cheeky swipe at a Rangers journalist after the 2-2 draw at Ibrox on Monday afternoon.
Celtic weren’t near their usual standard but still came away with a point.
Sutton spoke before the game about VAR and the need for the technology to get the big calls right. When he did, Rangers Review journalist Jonny McFarlane got his back up about it and took a dig at Chris for even bringing VAR into things before the tie.

It would transpire on the day that VAR would get a massive decision wrong and deny Celtic a stonewall penalty for handball. Conor Goldson had his hands up when the ball struck them; they were in an unnatural position, and let’s face it, Celtic have been dealt some ludicrous handball decisions since the introduction of VAR. Under the rules which have been applied against Celtic, this one should have been given to the Scottish Champions.
Everyone knows it, and Chris was vindicated for bringing up VAR in the run up to the game. He made it known to the journalist in question.
Oh Jonny I was right though…again! https://t.co/59zBKtrDJn

Why would a journalist have an issue with a pundit bringing up VAR before a football game?
Celtic remain nine points clear of their rivals after a late equaliser salvaged a point. The hoops didn’t play well but still managed to get something from the game.
