Ange Postecoglou was gutted to see his Celtic side go down to Real Madrid in the second half at Celtic Park on Tuesday evening.
The bhoys went toe to toe with the European champions in the first half and were unlucky not to be ahead. They missed a couple of chances and then paid the price with a sleek Madrid side finally imposing themselves in the game.

The first goal took the wind out of the Celtic team and they conceded four minutes later and the tie was as good as over.
Ange didn’t dismiss the game as a free hit or a pass at a loss because it was Real Madrid, the Australian believes his club and team should be competing and in the post match press conference he bears that burden.
A 3-0 defeat to open our Champions League campaign isn’t ideal, but the first half in particular should give this team belief they can mix it with the other two sides in the group.
It’s all to play for.
