“I Want To Do Better Than Him” – Nicolas Kuhn Talks Marvin Compper After Celtic Move

Nicolas Kuhn, Celtic’s newest signing, addressed the media in his first press conference following his official announcement and initial training session with the club.

During the conference, Kuhn unexpectedly mentioned Marvin Compper, a former Celtic player with whom he shares a connection from their time at RB Leipzig.

Marvin Compper’s tenure at Celtic is often remembered with a mix of humour and disappointment. His time with the club is frequently cited as one of the worst financial transfers in Celtic’s history, singing for just over £1 million.

Compper, who only played one-half of football for Celtic, has become a somewhat humorous reference point among fans and media for transfers that didn’t pan out as expected.

Kuhn, also hailing from Germany like Compper, shared his recollections of training with Compper at Leipzig. Speaking to CeltsAreHere.com, Kuhn said, “I knew Marvin Compper, I played with him at Leipzig. We trained a lot together in the first team there, I want to do better than him.”

It’s not going to take much to do better than Marvin Compper!
