Carl Starfelt is pretty stoic on the football field. The defender signed from Rubin Kazan in the summer as one of Ange’s first signings and has been ever-present in the starting XI since then.
The Swede had a thought start to his Celtic career and even now some pundits and fans are having a go at him but he’s been part of a defence who have only shipped 18 goals in the league so far this season. The bhoys have the best defence in Scotland. Starfelt and Carter-Vickers have struck up quite the partnership.
The defender and the players let their hair down during the Christmas ad at the end of last year – Carl and CCV together welcoming Fran Alonso to Christmas dinner with Ange.
At the time – we didn’t know the Swede had previous for going in front of the camera for a bit of light comedy!
