In the early hours of Sunday morning, Celtic’s Daizen Maeda took to social media to share his excitement and inability to sleep after a momentous victory in the Scottish Cup final against Rangers.
The Japanese winger revealed that the chant “Joe Joe, Super Joe” was running through his head, keeping him awake with exhilaration. This chant is a tribute to Joe Hart, the retiring goalkeeper, whose incredible career came to a close following the team’s triumph at Hampden.
