Celtic are being heavily linked with completing a loan move for Milan’s Diego Laxalt in the coming hours. The reports from Italy which emerged overnight believe Celtic are closing in on the left-sided player from the San Siro — even though they are Euro opponents.

The South American who has been capped 24 times by his country is looking for first team football and there’s a big chance he could get it at Celtic, especially after hearing a quick Twitter breakdown from South America based journalist, Tim Vickery.
A Celtic fan asked for some information on the potential signing — he replied with the attributes Celtic fans are looking for in a wing-back.
left foot, lung power. Can do midfield, can do left back or wing back. Solid subject

Diego appears to be a great fit for Neil Lennon’s 3-5-2 setup.
Another South American based Glasgow journalist was also very excited by the potential move.
Over the moon with talk of Laxalt to Celtic. First saw him playing in Uruguay's U20s back in 2013, plenty of drive and ability back then. Deals with the physical side of things well, huge jump in quality over what Celtic have at their disposal right now.
