Celtic defeated Dundee by three goals to nil on Boxing Day in what was a dominative showing. The Bhoys provided the travelling supporters with a belated Christmas present.
Paulo Bernardo opened the scoring just before the hour mark. Substitute Mikey Johnston then bagged a brace in the closing stages.
Celtic were on top of their opponents throughout, and former striker Chris Sutton hailed their display: “A performance of real authority from Celtic”, he said (X). “Totally dominant but should have been more ruthless. Good for Mikey Johnston his goals. Huge blow Carter-Vickers hobbling off.”

Sutton was a co-commentator of the match on Sky. He seems pleased with the win, but he is right in saying more goals should have been scored.
The Celts had a total of 38 shots on goal throughout the entirety of the match, limiting Dundee to just five. The hosts could offer little throughout the 90 as the champions picked up a much-needed needed boost going into the weekend’s Glasgow derby.
All eyes will be on Parkhead on Saturday at 12.30 pm as The Bhoys look to take all three points against their arch-rivals for the second time this campaign. Kyogo bagged the winner at Ibrox in September, and fans would accept a 1-0 scoreline again this time around.
