It was Jota’s turn to answer questions from the fans on Friday morning, with supporters submitting their questions on Thursday.

The winger penned a four-year deal at Celtic, with an option of a fifth, last week.

The announcement was great, it was long-awaited and Celtic finally confirmed the news that fans were desperate to hear.

As the days went past without an announcement from Celtic, fans were worried that Jota wouldn’t be returning. However, little did we know, when the Portuguese winger was touring the world he had already made his mind up. In fact, he had decided where he’d play his football the following season before Celtic’s season had come to an end.

Jota remarked;

“I think there was one point. It was just throughout the season with the games, the training, the fans, and being crowned champions – everything in one just made me make this decision!”
