How Celtic and Every Premiership Club Voted

The vote to hold an independent inquiry into the SPFL proposal was emphatically voted down on Tuesday when all the clubs got together to discuss the dossier.

RecordSport has revealed how all clubs voted on the day. There were four yes votes for an inquiry and they came from The Rangers, Livingston, Aberdeen and Hearts.

The rest of the clubs said no to the time and attention sapping inquiry as we look to save our game.

Motherwell – No

Aberdeen – Yes

Livingston – Yes

Hibs – No

St Johnstone – No

Kilmarnock – No

Ross County – No

The in-fighting will pale in comparison to what’s ahead if football can’t return in the not too distant future. Clubs and the league must pull together to make sure we can weather this storm together and come out the other end without clubs going out of business.

It’s a hard time for everyone at the moment. People would love to see football back, but given the Scottish Government isn’t even comfortable letting us out our homes unless it’s essential – we have a long way to go.
