Celtic fell to a disappointing defeat against AC Milan and there was some poor performances on the pitch. One man who has got it in the neck tonight is new bhoy Shane Duffy who looked out of sorts at the back.
The first two goals scored were all too easy for the Italian’s and you have to think Duffy has to do better for the second and third.
In the second half, Duffy looked nervous on the ball and made some poor decisions. This was enough for Shane to face heavy criticism throughout the tie on social media.
The bhoys put on a spirited second half performance and could have grabbed an equaliser before a sucker punch at the death.
There are positives to take from tonight, as crazy as that seems. Duffy really needs to pick himself up and do better going forward. However, he won’t be up against Milan strikers every week.
