Hibernian have tabled their fourth summer bid for Dundee midfielder Luke McCowan amid interest from Celtic.
The Hoops are on the hunt to sign another midfielder along with Arne Engels before this evening’s transfer deadline.

Andy Irving has been linked, along with McCowan, who has been a standout for his side over the past few seasons.
The BBC recently reported that the Scottish champions had tabled a bid for the 26-year-old, and it is now being reported that the Hibees have done so.
Sky Sports’ Anthony Joseph states on X that the Leith side have offered Dundee a fee in excess of £750,000 for McCowan, which would be a club record.
Whether it is accepted or not remains to be seen but one assumes, if they wanted, Celtic could swoop in and make a deal happen.
The Scot would be a wise addition to Brendan Rodgers’ squad, but it remains to be seen how things will pan out over the next four hours.
