Chris Sutton has responded in rather comical fashion to one of today’s headlines where Ibrox player Kyle Lafferty suggests the SPFL Title will be theirs come the end of the season.
The comments made by Lafferty are just one in a long line of boasts Celtic fans have had to deal with over the past three years and it seems like Chris Sutton isn’t buying this latest one.

Instead of putting their heads down after Derby defeat, we have seen a few Ibrox players come out in the press and criticise Celtic and now we have Lafferty making a title boast – it’s embarrassing.
Even if they had managed to win the game it would have been a rather premature statement.
They were played off the pitch by the real Champions on Sunday and are overcompensating for their lack of ability on the field.
If their ability to shoot their mouths off even remotely matched their ability on the pitch then we would be worried.
Celtic were billed as club in crisis this time last week – we sold one of our best players, Champions League exit and failing to land transfer targets all contributed to a hostile atmosphere.
Across the City, we were told it was all smelling of roses even though Celtic were ahead of them in the League.
They came to Celtic Park expecting to beat the Scottish Champions and they were found out by a club supposedly in crisis.
