This was the season Celtic started their comeback from the obscurity of the 90s where financial mismanagement would give way for a takeover, minutes before Celtic were closed for good. Fergus would start the ball rolling on a new stadium and a new way of running the club.
This culminated in the bhoys winning their first title in ten years and stopping ten in a row from happening.
The significance being Rangers would have surpassed Jock Stein’s Celtic. The bhoys left it till the last day of the season, but it was well worth it.
