Celtic legend Henrik Larsson made a return to Glasgow this week, linking up with three of the current squad for a mystery filming project at one of the city’s most iconic Celtic pubs.

The King of Kings was seen at McChuills on High Street on Wednesday, May 7, joined by Adam Idah, Kasper Schmeichel, and Luke McCowan. The quartet were spotted on set inside the popular bar, which is a mainstay for some Hoops fans on matchday, just on the edge of the Merchant City.

While the exact nature of the filming remains under wraps, the presence of Larsson alongside some prominent figures from Brendan Rodgers’ current squad has sparked a wave of speculation across social media, with fans desperate to know the reason for the link up.
McChuills kept its doors closed to the public until 8pm. Filming crews took over the space throughout the day.
Larsson’s appearance alone would have drawn attention, but paired with three of Celtic’s present-day first-team regulars, the scene certainly raised eyebrows.
For now, fans will have to wait and see what Larsson and the lads were cooking up in the Boozer, but I dare say more info will emerge in the coming days and weeks.
