HELEN FLANAGAN has joined her partner and ex-Celtic Celtic star, Scott Sinclair, in saying an emotional farewell to Glasgow after the player left the club this week.

The Englishman brought his whole family up with him to Scotland when he made the move with Helen splitting her time between Glasgow and Manchester due to work commitments.

Helen was regularly seen on trophy days doing a lap of honour with Scott and their little ghirl Matilda.

The actress seemed to get very emotional writing the message about leaving Glasgow behind and mentioned Matilda is leaving with a Scottish accent while her new board baby Delilah was born and is Scottish.

“Matilda was only one when we moved here and has a Scottish accent… Delilah was born in Glasow and my wee baby is Scottish and will always be a Glasgow girl.

“I have made life long friends who I care and love so much.

“This is my favourite picture in Glasgow at Kelvingrove Park, my fave.

“Thank you for all your lovely messages made me feel emotional to read them.”

Sinclair helped Celtic win ten trophies while at the club for the past three and a half years. The player has left his own legacy at the club and got a massive outpouring of emotion from the support after he made the switch.

It’s not often players get those king of send-offs, but it speaks to how highly he is regarded within the Celtic support.
