Celtic came away from the Scottish capital on Sunday afternoon with a deserved 4-1 victory. Goals came from across the park, but midfielder Tomoki Iwata’s was most notable.
Indeed the Japan internationalist bagged his maiden strike in green and white in the win. After the game, his manager Brendan Rodgers came out with high praise for him. He said (The Celtic Way): “It was a great finish and I am pleased for him. He works so hard. Some of these guys are very important for us.
“They maybe not start as many games as they would like but their contribution is really important. He came on and got his first goal for the club which is terrific.”

Everyone of a Celtic persuasion was pleased for Iwata after his goal this afternoon. It has been a long wait for the 26-year-old but after almost a year with the club, he finally bagged.
Rodgers will be hoping it is the first of many for the midfielder who will aim to force his way into the starting lineup.
