PLYMOUTH ARGYLE have revealed that Nadir Ciftci will not be sent back to parent club Celtic this month as there is no clause in the deal to do so.
Instead, the English club is trying to manufacture a move somewhere else for the player with Celtic’s blessing.
Speaking about the striker, Plymouth Boss Derek Adams sees only two options for the hapless striker.
“The only way that Nadir will leave in January is if he goes to another club. He won’t be returning to Celtic.
“He will be moving on to another club or he gets himself back in the team here.
“We just have to wait and see. His agent is on the case.
“I would like to see Nadir playing for us because he’s a talented individual, but he needs to play games somewhere.”
Ciftci is yet to score for Plymouth in his eight appearances to date. He has no future at Celtic and has been told he can seek a permanent move elsewhere if a deal becomes available.
